Mr. Bahaludin, Executive Director

He has been active in NGO activities since 1993. During 1996-2003 he was contracted to work for INSANI Foundation, a local NGO that implements projects for the Bajau, Tolaki and Buton people, and held several important positions i.e. Field facilitator (1996 - 1997); Financial Director (1998-1999), Program Director (2000-2001) and Executive Director (2002-2003). Besides as Director of IDRAP, presently he also takes position as Expert Staff of INSANI Director. He also participated in several activities both national and international levels e.g. Course on Environmental Impact Assessment in Kendari (2000); Workshop on Project Planning and Implementation in Makassar held by CEPI-Canada (2001); International Training on Managing Rural Organizations in Feldafing, Germany (2002); Indigenous Fellowship Programme at the Office of UNHCHR in Geneva, Switzerland (2003); Internship at the Office of UNESCO Paris, France (2003); Training on ILO Policy on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples (ILO Convention 169) at the International Labor Office, Geneva (2003); Training Programme to Enhance the Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding Capacities, UNITAR, Cartigny, Switzerland (2003); Panel Discussion on Indigenous Peoples and the Sustainable Development (Barcelona Forum), Barcelona - Spain (2004); Donor Consultative Meeting, Amsterdam - The Netehrlands (2004), Virtual Globe NGO/NPO Meeting, Tokyo - Japan (2006), Environment Congress for Asia and the Pacific (ECO Asia 2006), Saitama City - Japan (2006).
